The number of dvds shipped world wide from release to present  is a good reflection of the quality of instruction which John Carper oversees and hosts.  Like Shaping 101, Glassing 101 is a true surfing film with JC riders testing JC shapes world wide.  As Producer of the JC programs, there was no question that We were going to include surfing.

An additional camera was added and hung from the ceiling to give an overhead view which is great for watching the angle of the squeegee during laminating and also hot coating.  Glassing 101 is 80 minutes long.

At $30 this program has been viewed as a true value and has been carried in surf shops world wide since its release.

Please view the trailer and read the magazine review. Feel free to call (800) 833-0369 with questions. You will talk directly with the producer.

GLASSING 101 REVIEW

Surfer Magazine August ’98 Review by Ben Marcus

“Glassing 101 by JC and Carl Ackerman In 68 words: Shaping 101 taught you how to shape a blank. Glassing 101 will teach you how to make it waterproof. Put together with the same quality that made Shaping 101 so engaging , Glassing 101 walks you through all the tools and techniques of taking a shaped blank to a finished product. Once again, even if you never glass your own board, every surfer should see this at least once.

“Soundtrack: Barry Margolin , Bubonic Funkateers , Justin Hobart Brown , The Sellouts , Earl’s Son , The Turning.”
